Filippo’s new project and association, “Sonata for 7 Cities”, launched in February at the Vienna Konzerthaus, during a month-long residence that saw him also performing in a psychiatric hospital, in a soup kitchen, and retirement homes and schools. This format will be repeated in Cape Town, Hong Kong, Portland, Bogotà and Milan, and film-maker Ruggero Romano will make a docu-series covering the whole experience!

Filippo Gorini’s documentary inspired by Bach’s “The Art of Fugue”, including conversations with Alexander Polzin, Alfred Brendel, Peter Sellars, Frank Gehry, Steven Isserlis, Betül Tanbay, Alexander Sokurov, Leila Getz, Alice Mado Proverbio, Dominique Eddé, Marcus du Sautoy, Sasha Waltz and George Benjamin, has been published on RaiPlay and RAI5, in Italy.
